What an incredible privilege to serve a God who RAN!
Luke 15:19-20 “And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”
Jesus calls Himself the Good Shepherd. When a sheep wanders off, the first thing a raven goes after is its eyes. The raven knows that the sheep will destroy itself if it can’t see. Then, the raven can eat the rest. Jesus is the One who calls to the sheep. The Shepherd says, ‘This way, Son. This way, Daughter. Follow My voice and come out of the dark place that you are.’
